Jose Ruiz joined Qualifind in 2005 leveraging his extensive business development, engineering and manufacturing management experience as a Search Consultant. Jose's natural abilities as an entrepreneur coupled with his strong interpersonal skills were a great asset in Qualifind's new growth. His skills and insights into continuous improvement and process management along with his participation in building Qualifind's Recruitment Process Outsourcing services led to his promotion as Managing Partner of Qualifind's Sales and Marketing search practice.

Jose studied Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at the Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM). During his studies he supported CAD and Manufacturing Materials labs and work on solid modeling projects for Mercedes Benz and other companies in the automotive industry through the ITESM Manufacturing and Technology Center. He also served as President of the local chapter of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).

After graduation, Jose began working as a Design Engineer at Frisa Forjados involved with the redesign of a hydraulic forging press. Having grown up in the Tijuana-San Diego border region he utilized his bilingual and bicultural skills to move into Frisa's Technical Sales group and targeting new business in the automotive centers in the United States and Canada. Jose has worked throughout some of the largest industrial centers in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

Jose returned to the Tijuana-San Diego area gaining experience in HVAC equipment design eventually moving into Project Management, Quality Management, Human Resource Management and Organizational Development. Prior to joining Qualifind, Jose served as General Manager of two divisions of a U.S. aftermarket automotive component manufacturing operation.

Jose resides in San Diego and works from Qualifind's offices in the San Diego suburb of Chula Vista.
