Warren Carter founded QualiFind, Inc. in 1999 to leverage his prior military recruiting experience along with his extensive business network developed in the U.S. and Mexico after leaving the U.S. Navy in 1993.

Warren joined forces with Fernando Espinosa to create a full service executive search firm that successfully bridged the cultural differences between the U.S. and Mexico and many of the foreign investors that work within North America and Mexico. Warren and Fernando serve as Senior Managing Partners of the firm and have subsequently created a separate outplacement/career transition service called QualiFind Career Transitions and an agribusiness focused recruiting/executive search practice called AgriFind, LLC.

To further enhance QualiFind’s ability to service the human talent needs of their international clients, QualiFind joined the European-based executive search network of IRC Global Executive Search Partners in 2008. Since that time Warren has led a number of retained executive search assignments for both QualiFind and AgriFind clients in Europe and Asia that had business operations in either the U.S. and/or Mexico.

Warren’s career as an executive recruiter was born through a unique recruiting program for the U.S. Naval Reserve that specialized in recruiting highly skilled aviation engineers, pilots, aircrew, doctors and nurses for Naval Reserve programs. After recruiting service in Florida and the Western Pacific (based in Honolulu, HI), Warren shifted direction and took a business development role within the logistics and freight forwarding industry. This work gave Warren his start in developing an extensive network within Mexico’s business and maquiladora industry. Much of that business network had corporate counterparts in the U.S., Asia and Europe which led Warren to being recruited to manage a retained executive search practice for a national firm in San Diego.

When that firm closed its executive search practice in San Diego, Warren seized on the opportunity to fulfill an un-met need in the North American business market for an executive search practice that could meet the unique needs for the U.S. and Mexico’s interrelated markets (which include the maquiladora industry). His entrepreneurial skill set, extensive network in the U.S. and Mexico and understanding the value of diversity in the workplace led him to start his own executive search practice with QualiFind. QualiFind has become the leading executive search practice for Mexico’s maquiladora/manufacturing industry as well as providing a number of related consulting services around related aspects of the talent market in Mexico.

After successfully navigating a recession, he saw the need to provide career transition and outplacement services and therefore launched QualiFind Career Transitions which has provided outplacement services to both executive-level as well as staff-level professionals throughout the U.S. and Mexico.

Warren Carter grew up in a rural farming community in Blackshear, GA where he was exposed early on to row crop agriculture (corn, tobacco, cotton, and soybeans) along with poultry, swine and cattle production. This early life experience became an influence in his integrating AgriFind into QualiFind’s executive search practice. AgriFind has gone on to provide executive search and professional recruiting services to numerous international entities with agribusiness interests in the NAFTA marketplace. Warren has a good base of understanding of precision agriculture, farm automation software, modern agricultural machinery, as well as related plant and animal science and genetics.

Warren Carter and Fernando Espinosa lead QualiFind and the subsidiary practices of QualiFind Career Transitions and AgriFind while keeping a keen eye towards the ever-changing market demands and trends for the benefit of QualiFind clients.

Warren attained certification as a Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC) and Certified Diversity Recruiter. He has a Bachelors degree in Human Services from Hawaii Pacific University in Honolulu and has completed coursework in U.S./Mexico business at the University of California at San Diego (UCSD) and human resource management at San Diego State University.

Warren is a native of Blackshear, GA and is married to Rosa Icela Villarreal and they have three children. They reside in San Diego, CA.
