Our client, a medical devices company leader in manufacturing medical devices such as stents, catheters, guide wires, implantable fabrics and meshes, and fluid collection systems, is searching a SUPPLIER QUALITY MANAGER for its operation in Reynosa, Tamaulipas.  The company focuses on urology, vascular, and oncology products. Devices include

SCOPE

• Direct and Maintain Supplier Management Program
• Ensure all suppliers are properly qualified
• Develop the supplier audit schedule and ensure supplier audits area completed as scheduled.
• Ensure timely follow-up on supplier quality issues.
• Maintain control of quality costs for the supplier management program including incoming sampling and personnel costs.
• Responsible for the incoming inspections areas.
• Supervise direct and give guidance to the Quality Supervisors, Supplier Quality Engineer and Inspectors.
• Ensure full compliance with policies, procedures, QSR and ISO. Assume responsibility for proper documentation and revision control to meet FDA and company established standards.
• Provide support for teams as required. 

EDUCATION

• BS in Engineering with 3 years of experience in the quality field. Preferably in the medical device sector 

KNOWLEDGE & TRAINING

• Ability to coordinate multiple projects, coordinate planning and work cohesively with all involved departments
• Working knowledge of ISO GMP's and other QRS 

EXPERIENCE

• Previous supervisory, Quality systems, QSR and ISO regulations experience 

SKILLS

• Good communication skills
• Dynamic
• Positive attitude with good interpersonal and organizational skills, proficient ability to solve problems, responsible, ability to work under pressure
• Also able to communicate both verbally and writing in English 

AUTHORITY

• Responsible of supplier quality and incoming inspections areas
• May act as deputy of the direct supervisor or Department Manager
