We are seeking senior sales and marketing management executives for the role of Vice President of Sales & Marketing for our client's corporate headquarters in San Antonio, TX.

This position will report to the President and Chief Executive Officer.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for developing market strategies, policies and programs for new and existing businesses. This includes new products, product development, and channels of distribution, pricing, advertising and collateral material. Responsible for, service development and training, customer satisfaction and customer support. Provides assistance in forecasting, monitoring of forecast against plan and sales analysis. Develops new avenues for product expansion, partnerships to enhance core competencies and expand product distribution. Maintains close contact with key customers and potential partners through frequents field travel and participation in trade associations.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

� Develops and coordinates all activities of U.S. marketing organization following stated annual goals and objectives.

� Responsible for the development and implementation of marketing communications, advertising, and all customer directed communication, research and product identification.

� Responsible for developing the annual U.S. sales plan and monitoring to assure achievement of stated goal.

� Responsible for establishing priority system to access new business opportunities and assist in assigning appropriate resources to assure proper development cycles against stated goals.

� Active members of Operations Management Committee for participation of long range planning and corporate strategy.

� Responsible for New Product Development and maintaining a close working relationship with R& D/Engineering. Provides a clear line of communication on new development and product improvement for a smooth effective transition to product launch teams.

� Recommends new pricing and pricing policy change.

� Develops estimating system for New Products and custom shop product enhancements.

� Responsible for U.S. marketing budget and quarterly review and revision.

� Active in development of new partnership arrangements to enhance current lines of distribution and or product development.

� Assures all marketing personnel are trained appropriately to ensure their jobs are performed effectively.

� Works closely with all other departments within our client's business units to establish and carry out responsibilities.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

� Knowledge of domestic and international Company channels of distribution.

� Ability of leading within our client's organization, and strategic planning of new businesses.

� Prefer knowledge of food equipment or the foodservice marketplace.

� Product Development and market launch capabilities helpful.

� Mechanical Equipment understanding helpful.

� Understanding of development process, launch test profiling and go to market strategies.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

� Under graduate Marketing; MBA or Product Development helpful.

� 10-15 Years Product Marketing and Sales management experience.

� 5 years Product Development and Commercialization of New Products.

� Knowledge of Strategic Planning Process and Implementation.
