February 3, 1999
Warren Carter founded QualiFind focused almost exclusively on Mexico’s commercial and industrial markets. After brainstorming for name and brand ideas, his fiance at the time – Rosa Icela Villarreal came up with the QualiFind name.
March 30, 1999
Warren successfully completed QualiFind’s first search assignment for a Director of Materials for Hughes Network Systems.
April 8, 1999
QualiFind’s second search assignment for a Business Unit Manager was completed on behalf of client Parker Hannifin.
July 19, 1999
Vanessa Peterson was hired as QualiFind’s first official employee as a part-time bookkeeper.
Sometime in September 1999
Warren Carter, Fernando Espinosa and Rosa Icela Villarreal sat around a table overlooking the Real Del Mar Golf Course near Rosarito, Mexico and discussed the ideas for forming the first truly bi-national / bi-cultural professional recruiting practice. Notes were taken at that meeting that have been preserved for posterity.
Sometime in November 1999
Warren Carter and Fernando Espinosa formed QualiFind, Incorporated based from a home office in Bonita, CA and a commercial office in Tijuana’s Zona Rio.
March 14, 2000
Fernando Espinosa established QualiFind de Mexico, S. de R.L. in order to provide invoicing capabilities for Mexican clients.
