Professional Recruitment

We characterize professional recruitment to be the recruitment of technical / individual contributor to middle management-level talent with annual compensation as high as $200K per year. Our professional recruitment model offers contingent and engaged search processes.

No search assignment is the same and we gauge our processes and fee structures accordingly. There are numerous options that can be discussed which include fixed and variable fee structures depending upon the dynamics of the search involved.

Prior to committing to either process, we will take the time to learn more about your organization and what type of talent is needed in the role you seek to fill. We understand that all organizations are not created equal and needs for different levels or types of service can vary, which is why we offer process and fee customization. The process of selecting the appropriate model is one that we will undertake together.

The Difference Between Engaged and Contingent

The final cost of both the contingent and engaged recruiting models is typically very close in cost, with the final cost of the contingent model being slightly higher. The primary difference between the Engaged and Contingent Recruiting Models is in the candidate screening process, deliverables, placement warranty, and payment process. Here is a summary of each model.

Contingent Recruitment

Typically done for functional supervisory, technical and some management-level roles.

  • No upfront deposit is required to start a contingent search assignment and no payment is made to QualiFind unless a successful hire has been sourced and delivered by a QualiFind search consultant.
  • Deliverables include:
    1. Candidate resume
    2. E-mail Cover Letter explaining why candidate is a match for the role
    3. Summary of current or most recent compensation and benefits
    4. Reference check of a minimum of three references is made on the selected finalist.
  • Warranty on contingent assignments is 90 days.

Engaged Recruitment

Typically done for key technical and senior management-level roles or for roles where this level of talent is expected to be extremely limited within the market or additional discretionary measures are required.

  • Upfront deposit equal to approximately 1/3rd of the estimated total fee to start an engaged search. The remainder of the fee would be contingent upon a successful hire and the final payment would be made within 15 days of the candidate’s first date of employment.
  • Deliverables include:
    1. Candidate resume
    2. E-mail Cover Letter explaining why candidate is a match for the role
    3. Summary of current or most recent compensation and benefits
    4. Additional candidate screening processes are employed within the engaged model to ensure that candidates of interest are properly aligned to business objectives
    5. Detailed reference report from a minimum of six references is provided on the selected finalist.
  • Warranty on engaged assignments is 180 days.
